This is not a chapter about "choosing the right job." It is a chapter about practicing how to notice. Notice what a person actually does on a Tuesday at 11:14 a.m. Notice which sentences they use most often. Notice whether their hands look tired in a good way or in a bad way.
We have walked 27 lessons together. Now you are standing in front of seven small booths at a career fair. At each booth is one person, and all seven of them work here in Korea. Each of them does a job that did not fully exist when your parents were in middle school. They are not famous. They are not on TV. But each of them carries a question that might one day be yours.
Walk slowly. Read each booth. Try the small "Try this" task at the end. At the very end, take the matcher quiz — not because it picks your future, but because it shows you which kind of verb you already love practicing.

네가 자주 쓰는 앱 하나에서 가장 자주 헷갈리는 버튼을 골라 봐. 종이에 그 화면을 그리고, 더 좋게 만들 수 있는 한 가지 변화를 옆에 적어 봐. 색만 바꿔도 좋아. Pick one app you use daily. Sketch the most confusing screen on paper and write one specific fix beside it.
집에 있는 기계 하나(에어컨 리모컨, 헤어드라이어 등) 작동 원리를 영어 단어 5개로 설명해 봐. 사전 검색해도 좋아. 기계를 분해하지는 말고. Pick one machine at home (a remote, hair dryer) and explain how it works using 5 English words. Dictionary is fine. Don't dismantle anything.
유튜브에서 'Korean Sign Language hello / thank you' 영상을 찾아 5개 표현을 따라 해 봐. 거울 앞에서 표정도 함께. 5분이면 충분해. Search YouTube for "Korean Sign Language hello/thank you" and copy 5 expressions. Use a mirror. Include the facial expression — it's grammar.
이번 주 기후 관련 영문 기사 하나를 골라, 영어로 3문장 요약과 우리말 1문장 의견을 적어 봐. BBC, The Guardian Climate, NYT Climate가 좋은 출발점. Pick one English climate article this week. Summarize in 3 English sentences + 1 Korean opinion sentence. BBC, The Guardian Climate, NYT Climate are good starts.
오늘 너의 기분을 노래 한 곡으로 표현한다면 어떤 곡? 그 곡의 어떤 부분(가사·리듬·악기)이 너의 기분과 같은지 영어 2문장으로 적어 봐. If your mood today were one song, which song? Write 2 English sentences about which part of it matches your mood — lyrics, rhythm, or instrument.
너의 교실을 종이에 그려 봐 (간단해도 좋아). 햇빛이 어디로 들어오는지 화살표로 표시하고, 에너지를 절약할 수 있는 한 가지 변화를 영어로 적어 봐. (예: "Use a curtain on the south window in summer.") Sketch your classroom on paper. Mark where sunlight enters with arrows. Write one English change that would save energy.
